Everything is better with bacon! No really, I honestly believe this 100%…so I am going to test my theory. 2009 was a pretty dicey year with the economy, unemployment, Tiger Woods. I started thinking, “How can I ensure that 2010 will be a better year?” Yup, BACON! Screw the 12 days of Christmas, I’m talking 365 days of pure pork goodness. The way I see it Bacon = Happiness, except for Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and vegetarians. I fully support the act of non-bacon eating for religious reasons and personally vow to eat more bacon to ensure the happiness of my religious non-bacon eating brethren in 2010. The vegetarians, however, are on their own…they just make me sad.
My plan is to eat bacon daily, ideally in 3 meals per day, for the altruistic purpose of making 2010 a better year for all mankind. Hey, it’s for science! I am willing to put my arteries and waistline on the line for my fellow man. Don’t thank me, thank bacon. Beginning today, I am on a quest for happiness and prosperity for all through bacon.

I am thinking bacon rum would be good! I think that will have to be next. Bacon scotch and bacon bourbon would also work well!
